Emiliano Mendez, President of LAMBA, was recognized with an Immigrant Success Award at the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council´s (TRIEC) 10th Anniversary Celebration and 8th Annual Immigrant Success Awards event, held at RBC on May 8, 2014.  


Emiliano Mendez was recognized by his exceptional work and success in supporting new immigrants and his dedication to support diversity and immigrant inclusion in the job market. Being one of the founders of LAMBA, Emiliano worked as brand ambassador by rising over $100,000 in corporate sponsorships and managing relationships with current corporate sponsors, he also helped LAMBA members in connecting them with recruiters and providing them employment opportunities information. Emiliano also serves as Champion of his RBC business unit's Diversity Leadership Council, to enhance diversity and inclusion in his workplace.
